George Hinchliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain will celebrate the joys of the ukulele when it performs in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. The all-strumming and all-singing Orchestra members will reimagine musical classics during the fun-filled performance.

Distinguished trumpet soloist Pacho Flores will guest solo with the University of Wisconsin–Madison Symphony Orchestra (UWSO) during a night of world-class music on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. 

Flores and UWSO will perform in the Mead Witter Foundation Concert Hall at the Hamel Music Center as part of the 2021-22 Wisconsin Union Theater Concert Series, supported in part by the Mead Witter School of Music.

The Outdoor UW team at the Wisconsin Union will soon debut a program open to all and for every level of outdoor adventurer, called the Outdoor Explorer Series by Outdoor UW. 

The Brentano String Quartet will celebrate 30 years as a quartet with a performance in Shannon Hall in Memorial Union on Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. This concert is part of the 2021-22 Wisconsin Union Theater’s Concert Series and the David and Kato Perlman Chamber Music Series.

Those are the questions that GRAMMY-winning percussion quartet Third Coast Percussion and legendary dance organization Movement Art Is will explore on Jan. 27, 2022, at 7:30 p.m. CDT at the Hamel Music Center as part of the Wisconsin Union Theater’s Concert Series.

The Wisconsin Union’s annual Winter Carnival will return to Memorial Union Feb. 7-12, 2022, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association’s Winter Carnival Family Fun in Alumni Park will return on Feb. 12, 2022. 

The Wisconsin Union’s more than 80-year-old Winter Carnival tradition features a variety of events and activities that showcase the fun wintertime opportunities available to Wisconsin Union members and guests.

Join the Wisconsin Union Theater team on Dec. 11 as it presents Grammy Award-winning violinist Gil Shaham as part of the 2021-22 Wisconsin Union Theater Concert Series. The performance, part of the David and Kato Perlman Chamber Music Series, will take place in Shannon Hall at Memorial Union at 7:30 p.m.
