Truck for Food Scrap Collection

Participating Facility in Food Scrap Collection Program

From 2022 to 2025, Memorial Union and Union South have diverted over 6,700 carts of food scraps from landfills.

Plant-Based Chef-In Residence

Chef Lauren Montelbano of The Vibrant Veg joined us for one year to create plant-forward menus and increase availability of vegetarian, vegan, and low-carbon food options.

Housed in Union South and Memorial Union, OSCAR Sort is a smart recycling assistant that educates users on correct waste sorting, fostering informed choices and progress toward a zero-waste world.
