Getting to Memorial Union

Take I-90 or US 151 to Hwy 12/18. 
Exit Hwy 12/18 at Park Street (Exit 261 B). 
Proceed north on Park Street about 3 miles to Langdon Street
800 Langdon is on the corner of Langdon and Park Streets

Parking Lot 6/Helen C. White garage is located at the end of Park St. (at the Lake), on the left.

Public Transportation

Metro Transit serves residential neighborhoods, the Isthmus, schools and universities, in Madison, Middleton, Fitchburg, Verona, and the Town of Madison—including the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Bicycle

Traveling to Memorial Union and Union South by bike is highly recommended.  The Union has ample parking for personal bicycles, and both buildings offer B-cycle bicycle sharing stations.  

B-cycle Madison offers 39 B-cycle stations and 350 bikes throughout central Madison and the UW Campus.

Van Galder Bus from Regional Cities

Van Galder Bus offers daily service to Downtown Chicago, O'Hare Airport, Midway Airport, Janesville, Beloit and Rockford; Weekends and major holidays to Minneapolis. 

Tickets are available at the Essentials Store on the first floor of Memorial Union. 

Special rates are offered for UW-Madison, Edgewood College, MATC, Wesli students and Union members.

Air Travel

Dane County Regional Airport (MSN), on Madison’s northeast side, provides regional and national air service to and from Madison.  

MSN has daily flights to most major regional cities, and international locations via connection.

Goodspeed Pier Docking Access

The Goodspeed pier is uniquely designed to provide docking access for boats and paddlecraft, such as canoes and kayaks. Located off the shore north of the Below Alumni Center, home of the Wisconsin Alumni Association offices on Lake Street, the pier is the lakeside entry to the future Alumni Park.
