Group Art Experiences at Wheelhouse Studios
With a group of eight or more, Wheelhouse Studios offers the perfect place for registered student organizations (RSO), academic departments, local nonprofits, corporations, and groups of friends to host a private experience. Making art is beneficial for community or team building, and is a fun, unique way to celebrate birthdays, bachelorette parties, and more. Our talented staff will guide your group through every step of your project.
The minimum for many group art experiences is eight participants, but select projects are available for groups of at least four. If your group has fewer than four participants, please email Wheelhouse to explore options. Please note, all individuals in your group must be over the age of 18 to participate. Occasionally, we can host high school groups with chaperones.
Group Art Experience Offerings
After submitting your inquiry form, we will work with you to develop the perfect artmaking experience for your group. Prices range between $15–$45 per person. Keep reading to see the creative experiences we currently offer and learn about our group experience guidelines.
Fused Glass Art
Turn up the heat and create a one-of-a-kind fused glass artwork! Using pre-cut 4x6 or 6x6 glass panels, you’ll design a custom creation by layering colors, shapes, and textures. No experience necessary! Your finished artwork can be displayed as a wall hanging or freestanding tabletop accent (stand included). After the experience, your fused glass artwork will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at Wheelhouse Studios within 1–2 weeks.

Ink Flow Tiles
Let it go with ink flow! In this experience, you’ll drip vibrant ink and move it around to create beautiful abstract scenes. This project can be completed on ceramic tiles or on paper.

Acrylic Painting:
Acrylic painting can be done on a mini (4” x 4”) canvas or regular-size canvas (12’’ x 16’’).

Watercolor Painting: Bucky Badger
Learn watercolor painting skills while celebrating school spirit as you create a painting featuring Bucky Badger.
