The Wisconsin Union Theater team invites patrons to jazz up their year with its six-show Jazz Series, which runs from Sept. 15, 2022-March 25, 2023, at Memorial Union.

Free and low-cost entertainment is back at iconic Madison summertime lakeside destination the Memorial Union Terrace, including the decades-long traditions of free concerts, free film showings, outdoor events and recreation equipment rentals, and art events as well as new activities.
Paddling rentals and summer outdoor group experiences have begun at Outdoor UW for the 2022 summer season, including the rental of tandem kayaks, single kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, and an eight-person stand-up paddleboard.

The iconic, outdoor Madison destination, called the Memorial Union Terrace, reopens for the 2022 Terrace season on April 13 when the Wisconsin Union team brings back hundreds of green, yellow and orange chairs with a sunburst design to the Terrace.
The Memorial Union Terrace includes more than 40,000 square feet of accessible outdoor entertainment. The chairs’ return process begins on April 13, and the team expects their return to continue for two to three days at the Terrace.
