The Marquee Cinema

A Home for Film

The Marquee located on the second floor of Union South is the home for film on campus. This 326-seat cinema hosts hundreds of film screenings every year, the majority of which are programmed by the WUD Film Committee. The Marquee features dual 35mm projectors, an HD projection system, and a state-of-the art sound system.

WUD Film screenings are regularly held on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during the academic year, with fun special screenings popping occasionally on other days.  Titles range from new releases to old-time favorites and all WUD Film screenings are free.

A Meeting Space

The Marquee is also equipped to host meetings, lectures and other special events.  Amenities include smart podium technology, an adjacent lounge, and outdoor balcony space.  Our skilled meeting planners help plan and support events campus-wide.

The Marquee User Guide can help you plan your event.
To reserve the Marquee, please complete the Marquee Reservation Request form.
