Terrace Art Zone - Make Art on the Terrace!

Terrace Art Zone is a free, drop-in artmaking experience for all ages and skill levels. Each week throughout the summer, we will feature a new activity that can be completed Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. All supplies and instructions are provided. Detailed activity info for each week will be listed at the bottom of this page! 

Terrace Art Zone Hours: 

June 11, 2026, through August 22, 2026

Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

5–8 PM

Terrace Art Cart

While you're creating at the Terrace Art Zone, visit the nearby Terrace Art Cart to shop DIY kits and giftable, handmade works. Browse an ever-changing selection of stickers, pins, original watercolors, posters, tote bags, and more, created by local artists, including ArtWorking, a Madison-based nonprofit that supports artists with disabilities.

Campus Moments Postcards: Share your love of campus—and the Terrace—with friends and family through the gift of art! Choose from a variety of designs and make each one your own using watercolor paint, colored pencils, or markers. Select designs are also available as full-color images. $2 each or 3 for $5.
DIY Project Kits featuring Bucky Badger.
DIY Kits: Show your school spirit while trying your hand at a retro favorite! From paint-by-number to fuse beads to string art, create Bucky Badger and beyond. Each kit includes instructions and supplies. Kits range from $8-$15.

Art Cart Hours:

Thursdays: 5–8 PM

Fridays: 5–8 PM

Saturdays: 5–8 PM

Sundays: 11 AM–1 PM
