Explore working with a pottery wheel and learn the basics of working with clay. Each class comes with 12.5 lbs. of clay as well as free use of the open-studios during and two weeks after the class.

Learn the basics of handbuilding in clay with techniques including coiling, pinching and slab work. Each class comes with 12.5 lbs. of clay as well as free use of the open-studios during and two weeks after the class!

Learn how to approach working from a live model in this one-time workshop. Participants will be instructed on basic drawing strategies to simplify the human form and how to build line and value as pose lengths increase, all while working from a nude model. Class includes a pad of newsprint and a kneaded eraser, and all work will be done in charcoal. Leave this course with the boost of knowledge and confidence to make the most out of future figure drawing sessions you attend!
