David Hogg, a survivor of the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, co-founder of March for Our Lives, and new Vice Chair of the Democratic National Convention, has become one of the most prominent voices in the fight for gun violence prevention. Through activism, policy advocacy, and grassroots organizing, he has worked to mobilize young people and push for legislative change.
On Tuesday, April 8th at 7:00 PM in the Marquee Theater (Union South), Hogg will join WUD Society & Politics to discuss gun violence prevention, the power of youth activism, and his personal journey from tragedy to advocacy. The event will conclude with an audience Q&A.
We acknowledge that these conversations are difficult, and we encourage attendees to prioritize their well-being. If you need assistance, please contact UHS.
WUD Society & Politics is hosting a moderated debate between the College Democrats and the College Republicans.
