WUD Music Presents: Two Jackets

Two Jackets is a jazz quintet that formed in Madison Wisconsin in 2018, the group's sound is influenced by music ranging from bebop to hip hop and features a variety of original compositions as well as new takes on standard jazz repertoire. Since winning a DIG jazz recognition from the Greater Madison Jazz Consortium in 2020, the members of Two Jackets have gone on to perform individually across the United States and continue to perform together whenever possible. Two Jackets' distinctive groove features intimate moments and firey improvisation, and offers audiences sounds from across the specturm of jazz music.
