WUD Film x WI Film Festival present an advance screening of My Old Ass (2024).

USA | 89 min | PG-13 | DCP | Dir. Megan Park

Celebrate the start of the fall semester with a FREE sneak peek of My Old Ass! A crowd favorite at the Sundance Film Festival, this romantic charmer with a hint of sci-fi costars Aubrey Plaza.

In this fresh coming-of-age story, an 18th birthday mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott (Maisy Stella) face-to-face with her wisecracking 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza). But when Elliott’s “old ass” starts handing out warnings about what her younger self should and shouldn’t do, Elliott realizes she has to rethink everything about family, love, and what’s becoming a transformative summer.

“A future classic” – Variety

“Sweet, smart and funny. This film is a gift” – Screen Rant

“Hilarious and entertaining. One of the best coming-of-age comedies we can remember in forever” – The Playlist

Note to Attendees:  Due to high interest in our free advance screenings, the venue will fill to full seating capacity. Once we reach capacity, no additional admissions will be allowed.  For this reason, we will be strictly enforcing our "first-come, first-served" policy for these screenings.  There will be no saving of seats in the venue or spots in line.  If you wish to be seated as a group, all parties must arrive and wait in line together once your entire group is present (we will not allow people to cut ahead in line to meet up with others already waiting).  No recording devices are allowed in the venue and all phones must be fully powered down before entering the venue.  Security will be in place for this screening.  To help us speed up the line, please try to leave backpacks and other large bags at home.  Coats and bags must be placed under seats, as we will fill every available seat.  Thank you for your understanding!
