Join the WUD Distinguished Lecture Series for a moderated conversation with actress and advocate Marcia Cross at Shannon Hall in Memorial Union.
Best known for her role as “Bree Van de Kamp” in the Emmy & Golden Globe winning ABC hit series DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.
Marcia’s television credits include many hit series over the years, YOU (Netflix), MONARCH (Fox), QUANTICO (ABC), MELROSE PLACE (Fox) and EVERWOOD (WB).
Marcia recently starred in the off-Broadway plays Pen Pals by Michael Griffo and Pay The Writer by Tawni O’Dell.
A graduate of The Juilliard School, Marcia began her career in the theatre at Williamstown Theatre, The Hartford Stage Company, and The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.
Following her own diagnosis and treatment, Marcia became an anti-cancer advocate. She pushes for more open discussion and public awareness of the HPV infection, which can lead to several forms of cancer.
