The WSDS Friendly Fire Debate Tournament is a fun and welcoming event where students debate engaging, accessible topics, enjoy a free lunch from Ian’s Pizza, and compete for awards in a spirited competition.

The WSDS Friendly Fire Debate Tournament, hosted on Sunday, April 13th, is a fun and inclusive event designed for students of all experience levels to engage in lively, structured debates on accessible and entertaining topics. The day kicks off with a brief introduction to debate, ensuring everyone feels comfortable with the format before competing in two preliminary rounds. Between rounds, participants can enjoy a free lunch from Ian’s Pizza while socializing and preparing for the next debates. The top teams will advance to the final round, where they’ll compete for the championship, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding performances. Whether you're a seasoned debater or just looking for a fun, intellectually engaging experience, this tournament is the perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming debate community!
