Veterans Day Recognition Breakfast

In observance of Veterans Day, the Wisconsin Union & University Veteran Services will hold a recognition event with light snacks & refreshments.

We invite you to join us for a gathering, in recognition of the Badgers who have served our country, including our fallen UW–Madison service members. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The event will include the Army ROTC Color Guard, in addition to remarks by:
- Mark Guthier, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the Director of the Wisconsin Union
- Kathy Still, Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (and UW–Madison Law School graduate)
- Joe Rasmussen, UW–Madison Director of Veteran Services

At 10:30 a.m. all are invited to participate in the flag dedication ceremony on Bascom Hill hosted by the UW–Madison chapter of Student Veterans of America.

You are also welcome to visit union.wisc.edu/goldstar for information about the Union’s history as a memorial to fallen UW–Madison service members. There, you will also find information about how the Union team helps tell these heroes’ stories.
