Attend a free studio class with 18x GRAMMY nominee Branford Marsalis, with performances by the Mead Witter School of Music's Jazz Composers Group and Jazz Standards Ensemble. Hear from Marsalis about his experience in classical, jazz, and the music industry as a whole. This event will be moderated by Johannes Wallmann, Director of Jazz Studies.
The Branford Marsalis Quartet will perform in Shannon Hall on Thursday, May 1 at 7:30 PM as part of the Wisconsin Union Theater's Jazz Series. Student tickets are $8-$12.
