Vasily Petrenko graciously offers his time and expertise for a very special guest artist class for select conducting students currently under the mentorship of UW School of Music’s Director of Orchestral Activities, Oriol Sans. Accompanied by a small ensemble, through critique and conversation, these graduate students will build upon their studies to “conduct” themselves through innovative art practices. Q&A will follow moderated by Maestro Sans if time allows. Tickets to the evening’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance presented by the Wisconsin Union Theater are available through Campus Arts Ticketing.
