The Lower 5th

Honored as "Best Alt/Indie Band" in the Best of Madison 2018, the Lower 5th has performed in many venues in Madison and across Southern Wisconsin, including features at Between the Waves, Charity Jamboree, Ragged Roots, the Lands End Summer Music Series, and Driftless Music Gardens. The Lower 5th has also performed support for national acts including Boyd Tinsley of the Dave Matthews Band, Gangsta Grass, and The Railsplitters.

The Lower 5th is Cory Swadley (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Paul Metz (Drums/Vocals), Audrey Pescitelli (Bass/Vocals), Jeremy Henning (Trombone/Vocals) and Michael Buerger (Trumpet/Vocals). Building upon the spirit of "Hope" inspired by their late founder, singer-songwriter Luke Jorgensen, the Lower 5th welcomes all to share in the love of music and community.
