In this class, students will hand fabricate a sterling silver ring with a hammered texture. Skills learned in this class include use of jeweler's saw, basic soldering techniques, and use of tools including chasing hammers and files as well as an introduction to using buffing wheels for polishing. This is a beginner-friendly class and no previous metalsmithing experience is required to participate.
