Sophie Cates, (formerly known as Silver Sphere), is a singer and songwriter from Chicago, currently based in LA. Her genre of music is self-described as “pop with unexpected other influences every once in a while”, and cites her influences as ranging from Taylor Swift to The 1975. Releasing her second EP all my boyfriends in 2020, it marked the singer/songwriter’s first major label release – an exciting milestone for an artist who’s so focused on continuous development.
