Learn the basics of hand building in clay, including techniques such as coiling, pinching, and slab work. There will be demonstrations on surfacing, design, and texture, along with a full explanation of glaze processes. Students will create both functional and conceptual ceramic pieces using a variety of hand-building techniques.
