Join us directly following this historical performance for a discussion on dance as a political act and cultural intervention. We’ll look at how creative practices address trauma, visibility and embodiment through movement and performance. Bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives, the conversation highlights disability, aging and radical access in creative practice while using storytelling to amplify marginalized narratives. Centering in part on discussing that which isn’t discussed, we invite open dialogue around the role of art in challenging silence and fostering inclusion.
