Interdisciplinary Arts Community Sessions (IACS) with Doric String Quartet

Hamel Music Center
Collins Recital Hall
Doric String Quartet offers a shared creative master class for selected groups, drawing on their combined experience and collaborative artistry. Moderated by Sally Chisholm.

Through interactive observation, critique and curiosity the Doric String Quartet will offer participating students a rare perspective on musical partnership. They will listen deeply and discuss what it means to create work that can only emerge from that deep listening. Please join this free event and take part in the q/a following the student performances. Interdisciplinary Arts Community Sessions (IACS) are designed in collaboration with the participating artists and contributors to provide a platform for scholars, students, campus partners, and community members to engage with artists across disciplines, grounding real-world practice in an academic context and cultural inquiry. IACS was formally launched in partnership between WUTWUDPAC and OMAI in September of 2025.
