Join WUT and OMAI in welcoming French-Senegalese artist anaiis for a special screening of her short film that accompanies her latest album Devotion and the Black Divine, followed by a conversation with Professor Alison C. Rollins surrounding themes of Blackness, motherhood, the natural world, personal history and storytelling. We will explore how identity, cultural heritage, artistic evolution and informed experience impact the creative process and work to understand more about ourselves and the world through the lens of anaiis' creative practice in this special Interdisciplinary Arts Community Session. This event is free, but space may be limited. Concert tickets available here.
