From the Artist: This exhibition features figurative sculptures, wood-carved masks in specific. These masks are made using the method similar to that of Noh; however, I incorporate contemporary concepts and media without destroying the feel of the old culture. I wish viewers can find voices behind of the silent masks.
An opening reception for Hideki Suzuki's Imagine will be held outside of the Class of 1925 Gallery on April 10th from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Light refreshments will be provided!
Imagine will be open to viewing in the Class of 1925 Gallery at Memorial Union from April 10th, 2026 through May 22nd, 2026. The gallery is open from 8am - 10pm, Monday through Sunday. (with the exception of holiday/winter closures)
