Dari Bay is an indie rock project from Burlington, Vermont, led by singer-songwriter Zack James. Described as a "perpetually shifting art project," it began in 2015 as a one-man endeavor but has evolved into a full band for live performances. Its music, including the 2023 album Longest Day of the Year, blends experimental and hazy sounds with accessible, cozy folk elements to create unique, often contradictory, songs that celebrate mundane moments.
