Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking method that involves scratching an image into a plate with a pointed tool. We'll explore plastic containers as printmaking plates, how to clean and prepare the surface, use photos, artwork or other imagery as a guide and what types of household tools can be used to scratch into the plastic. After the plates we'll ink them up and print them using the printing press.
