Copeland James is a keytar-wielding alternative folk artist from Bloomington, IN. Drawing influence from artists such as Lucy Dacus, Imogen Heap, and Regina Spektor, James’ music seeks to fill in the gap between what we want to say and what ends up coming out. Their debut album Small Talk (2023) introspects on failed communication, precarious intimacy, and our flawed human nature.
