Registration guarantees you a seat and a meal. This event will take place from 6-8pm. By registering, you acknowledge the event's time commitment and will make your best effort to attend the entirety of the dinner and discussion.
Shared meal with facilitated panel conversation connecting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s advocacy for basic human rights to today’s food equity challenges and service opportunities. *This event is part of the MLK Celebration: Stone of Hope Week of Events

Join the WUD Cuisine and Volunteer Action Committees for this community dinner & discussion style event. Expect to gain profound insight from local experts on the topics of food security, food systems, and food equity - all through the lens of Dr. King's fight for basic human rights. This event will consist of shared meal, a captivating panel discussion, and a call to action around local food security service efforts. This event is programmed by the Wisconsin Union Directorate with support from Student Affairs and The Office of the Chancellor. Dinner will be catered by Melly Mell's Soul Food with dessert & coffee catered by Wisconsin Union Catering.
