Legendary label Blue Note Records quite simply is jazz—its past, present, and future. Celebrating the 85th anniversary of the label that ushered in styles from hot jazz and blues to cool jazz, bebop, and fusion, and built the bridge into today’s avant-garde, hear “The Blue Note Quintet”–a group brought together to honor the label’s rich history and pave the way for the eclectic artists of today’s roster– traverse time and space in concert that will be one for the history books.
