Teen Camps

Sharpen Skills that Matter!

Teen camps are designed to foster skill-building in artmaking with instructors from Wheelhouse Studios, or leadership skills with staff from the Office for Student Organizations, Leadership, and Involvement, thoughtfully combined with other fun and enriching experiences. Camps are for ages 14-16 and will run July 27-31. Descriptions of each camp are below.

Camp Optimize

Join us at Camp Optimize, where leadership meets adventure! Spend your days tackling group challenges and diving into real-life leadership scenarios, all while making new friends and having a great time.

At Camp Optimize, you'll sharpen your skills in:

  • Communication (say it like you mean it!)
  • Goal Setting (dream big, make it happen)
  • Collaboration (team up and crush it)
  • Problem-Solving (think fast, act smart)
  • Team Building (because when we all win, we all win)

From high-energy activities to scenario simulations, this camp is all about fun, connection and discovering your leadership style. Whether you're tackling an element on the ropes course or figuring your way out of an escape room-type challenge, you'll leave with new skills and unforgettable memories.

ArtHaus Camp with Wheelhouse Studios

This artmaking camp blends structured instruction with open-ended exploration, giving young artists the freedom to develop their own creative voice. From mosaics and sculpture to printmaking and beyond, each day offers a new opportunity to experiment, express and discover what's possible.
