Terrace Art Zone - Make Art on the Terrace!
Terrace Art Zone is a free, drop-in artmaking experience for all ages and skill levels. Each week throughout the summer, we will feature a new project that can be completed Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Projects will range from painting to printmaking and more. All supplies and instructions are provided. Detailed project info for each week will be listed at the bottom of this page!
Terrace Art Zone Hours:

Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Terrace Art Cart
While you're creating at the Terrace Art Zone, visit the nearby Terrace Art Cart to shop DIY kits and giftable, handmade works. Browse an ever-changing selection of stickers, pins, original watercolors, posters, tote bags, and more, created by local artists, including ArtWorking, a Madison-based nonprofit that supports artists with disabilities.
Art Cart Hours:
Looking for a unique gift for a graduate (or a memento from your time at UW–Madison)? The Art Cart on the Memorial Union Terrace will be open during graduation weekend:
- Friday, May 8 | 12–8 PM
- Saturday, May 9 | 12–5 PM
- Sunday, May 10 | 12–5 PM
