Madison Music Makers to Play for Los Angeles Guitar Quartet Audience and Concert Program Announced

Students of Madison Music Makers will delight the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet audience by playing in Shannon Hall when the doors open at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 22nd. Patrons are invited to come early and enjoy these talented young musicians. See video about the organization here.

The LAGQ concert starts at 8 pm and the program includes:

  • "Music from the Time of Cervantes"
  • "Brandenburg Concerto #6, BWV 1051" by Johann Sebastian Bach (arr. J. Smith)
  • "Three Brazilian Pieces," by Hermeto Pascoal, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Baden Powell
  • "Opals" by Phillip Houghton
  • "La soirée dans Grenade" by Claude Debussy
  • "Carmen Suite" by George Bizet

Tickets are still available and can be purchased on our website, at the Memorial Union box office or by calling 608-265-ARTS.
