30th Anniversary

In 2017, the Isthmus Jazz Festival will be celebrating 30 years of swing, groove and improv. To honor this milestone, the UW Jazz Orchestra will debut a commissioned piece, written by Paul Dietrich, about the Terrace titled Scenes from Lake Mendota.

An ode to the Terrace, Scenes from Lake Mendota is a three movement piece capturing the natural beauty of the lake at different times of day: "Bright", "Twilight", "After Dark".
