The Reflection Room in Union South is intended as a retreat to promote mental and physical health and well-being. Located on the third floor, the Reflection Room allows users to enjoy peace and quiet amid the busy humming of campus.

This room is open to all UW-Madison students, staff and faculty and Wisconsin Union members for personal reflection and meditation. The Reflection Room is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure this space is peaceful and used for the purpose of personal reflection, we kindly asks guests to abide by the following rules:

  • Larger groups who wish to carry out a reflection session may reserve a room by contacting the Campus Event Services Office at events@union.wisc.edu.
  • All electronic devices must be turned off or silenced before entering the room.
  • No food and beverages, except water bottles are permitted.
  • No candles, incense, any open/closed flames, fragrance or scent emitters are permitted.
