What is the Social Justice Hub?

The  Social Justice Hub provides purposeful out-of-classroom education through direct experience to further develop skills to engage in social justice work and to improve the quality of life for all.

Get Involved in:

  • Action teams working on a specific issue
  • Educational activities and Dialogue-Based Workshops
  • Being a "Hub" building collaborations and connections across campus

Engaged students develop skills in communication, inquiry and analysis, critical and creative thinking, teamwork and problem solving, social responsibility, leadership for our democracy, and in being an effective member of society. The Wisconsin Union Social Justice Hub extends this learning focusing on social justice issues students are interested in.

Located in Union South, the Social Justice Hub creates connections among students and campus groups that are working toward creating a more socially just and inclusive campus, community, and world.
