Why is Social Justice important to you?
Social Justice is important to me because speaking up for others, especially those in marginalized communities, is something that I'm deeply passionate about. I believe that every voice in the community should be uplifted and celebrated. Diversity makes us stronger and more enlightened about the work we live in.
What do you hope to help achieve as part of the Social Justice Hub?
I hope to create an environment that is inclusive and supports the many cultures and backgrounds that make this campus great. I hope to work with organizations in and around Madison to form beneficial partnerships in order to bring awareness to a variety of social issues such as prison reform and women’s rights.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
This was hard because there are so many good ones! I’m going to have to go with "Doo Wop (That Thing)" by Lauryn Hill.
