Year in school and major:
Freshman; legal studies and political science, and a certificate in criminal justice.
Why is Social Justice important to you?
It's important to me that everyone feels valued and important in their community so that everyone wants to participate in and enjoy it. I experienced pushback in high school as a female in engineering classes, which was what really pushed me to explore opportunities to help others feel and be treated equally.
What do you hope to help achieve as part of the Social Justice Hub?
I'm hoping to make an impact in the Madison community while also learning from the diverse members of our city. I'm particularly interested in criminal justice reform and voting rights.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
My favorite song to do bad but passionate karaoke to is "Believe" by Cher.
