Interested In Supporting Social Justice?
Engaged students develop skills in communication, inquiry and analysis, critical and creative thinking, teamwork and problem solving, social responsibility, leadership for our democracy, and in being an effective member of society. The Social Justice Hub extends this learning focusing on social justice issues students are interested in.
The Social Justice Hub creates connections among students and campus groups that are working toward creating a more socially just and inclusive campus, community, and world.
Social Justice Resources
The goal of social justice education is full and equal participation of all groups in a society that is mutually shaped to meet their needs. Social justice includes a vision of society that is equitable and all members are physically and psychologically safe and secure. --Adam, Bell, and Griffin (1997)
