Divide your sheet of paper into 8 equal sections by folding in half lengthwise (like a hotdog bun), then widthwise, and then widthwise again. Unfold your paper until flat.
Fold the paper widthwise (like a hamburger bun, not a hotdog bun this time.) Using the folded marks from step 1 as your guide, cut along the middle line, from the folded edge to the very center. Don’t cut any further! Unfold paper until flat.
Refold paper lengthwise (like a hotdog bun). Hold paper with one hand at each end, folded and cut side up, open side down. Gently push your hands towards each other to make the center of your paper “pop” out.
Bring your hands and the ends of the paper together so that when you look down you’ve created what looks like a plus sign from above. Finish by locating the front and back covers, then fold each individual “page” together and crease flat to make a book.
