Xiaohong Zhang's diverse cultural background and 1990s art training, spanning fine art and graphic design, deeply shape her approach. Since 1999, she employs 2D and 3D software to create politically themed pieces like "China and U.S.", "Tumult ". Her focus expands from personal narratives to examining cultural dynamics between China and the U.S., fostering a balanced East-meets-West perspective for critical engagement.
