Join us for our third Women of Color week event!

This Panel will explore the gendered experience of women of color from various regions of the world, including China, Columbia, and Spain. Panel members will talk about their experiences as women in their home country or cultures, including reflections on their experiences in the U.S. How has race and class impacted their experiences of gender? What did panel members learn growing up about what it meant to be a woman, man, or gender queer individual? How are views on gender shifting in their families, communities, and cultures? What are some of the challenges facing women in their culture? Come enjoy lively discussion.

Co-hosted by International Student Services at UW-Madison.
