Union Council is the governing board of the Wisconsin Union. The Council is responsible for reviewing all operations in the building and keeping policies updated to assure we are meeting our patron’s needs and fostering a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment. The five Union Council subcommittees play a key role as the bodies that review policies and operations, explore potential issues and make suggestions for improvement.
The Facilities Subcommittee of Union Council represents the Wisconsin Union Facilities operating area, which includes Building Services, Game Rooms, Guest Rooms, Central Reservations, Conference Services, Project Management, and Technical Maintenance. This subcommittee deals with the Wisconsin Union building usage, space allocation, and operation guidelines as they pertain to policies.
All meetings are open to any UW-Madison student, faculty or staff member, and alumni. We invite you to attend and have your voice heard!
