Union Council is the governing board of the Wisconsin Union. The Council is responsible for reviewing all operations in the building and keeping policies updated to assure we are meeting our patron’s needs and fostering a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment. The five Union Council subcommittees play a key role as the bodies that review policies and operations, explore potential issues and make suggestions for improvement.
The External Relations Subcommittee of Union Council is comprised of the External Relations operating area, which includes Marketing, Communications, Development, Member & Alumni Relations, and Corporate Sponsorships. This subcommittee deals with issues pertaining to public relations, marketing, member relations, fundraising, and sponsorship.
All meetings are open to any UW-Madison student, faculty or staff member, and alumni. We invite you to attend and have your voice heard!
