Join the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Wisconsin- Madison at our Third Annual Story Slam.
Individuals who've served in Peace Corps, whether in remote African villages or Russian-style high rise apartments, return with stories they tell for the rest of their lives. Tales of wild animals, wild menus, heartbreaking poverty and/or their own heartbreaking love affairs entertain friends and family for decades to come.
Join the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Wisconsin- Madison in celebrating 2016 International Education Week with our Third Annual Story Slam. The evening’s theme is “Unexpected Lessons” – to be interpreted broadly by each returned Peace Corps volunteer, involving a lesson they unexpectedly learned during their service. Six to eight storytellers will intrigue or regale you with their Unexpected Lessons.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the Rathskeller, Stiftskeller, Pete’s Coffee and/or the Daily Scoop. Items purchased on site can be carried into the theater (The Memorial Union does not allow outside food/beverages).
