USA | 92 min | R | 35mm | Dir. Walter Hill
After a charismatic leader gathers all of NY's gangs in one place in an effort to unite them into a single super gang army that can conquer the city. When he is assassinated, and his murder is pinned on The Warriors, the plucky band of street thugs must spend the night navigating a city where everyone and anyone could be after them, running from cops and rival gangs alike and trying to stay alive. It's hyper-hip, over the top action, full of wholly original characters living in a vivid dystopia , a 110% blast of 70s style and intensity.
