A rockin' homegrown UW Madison campus oldies cover band.

The Sundogs began right here on the UW-Madison campus with a lunch-break jam session by Jon Martin (lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist) and Grant Petty (lead guitarist).  Sixteen years later, the band now includes bassist Graham Judson and drummer Patrick Hennessee, and they play clubs, festivals, and weddings not only throughout Wisconsin but also in Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan.  Their crowd-pleasing repertoire ranges from the 1960s (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival) through the 1970s (the Who, Dire Straits, Eagles, Pink Floyd), 1980s (the Cars, Police, U2, Tom Petty), and 1990s (Nirvana, Green Day). The Union Terrace stage is their absolute favorite venue, and they look forward to playing for the home crowd on May 27!
