The Sundogs Pre-Game Concert

Music
Friday, August 31
5 - 7:30 pm
Cost: Free
The Sundogs are a four-piece cover band based in Fitchburg, WI.
The Sundogs began right here on the UW-Madison campus with a lunch-break
jam session by Jon Martin (lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist) and Grant
Petty (lead guitarist).  Eighteen years later, the band now includes
bassist Graham Judson and drummer Patrick Hennessee, and they play clubs,
festivals, and weddings throughout Wisconsin and in Illinois, Iowa, and
Michigan.  Their crowd-pleasing repertoire ranges from the 1960s (Beatles,
Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival) through the 1970s (the Who,
Dire Straits, Eagles, Pink Floyd), 1980s (the Cars, Police, U2, Tom Petty,
Bruce Springsteen), and 1990s (Nirvana, Green Day, Fastball). The Union
Terrace stage is their all-time favorite venue, and they look forward
helping kick off the football season on August 31!
