If you are interested in facilitating our Social Justice Core Workshops join the Social Justice Peer Facilitation Team! Peer facilitators are members of the campus and the broader community who want to learn how to facilitate positive social justice change, gain public speaking skills, and build connections with organizations on and off-campus.
To become a Peer Facilitator, you must attend a 4-week training, that will include reviewing and practicing workshops, improving public speaking and building awareness of one's own privilege and biases. This training occurs once a semester. The next training series will start Tuesday, February 18th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Please email the Education Coordinator, Julia, at socialjusticeeducation@union.wisc.edu, to let her know of your interest, questions, comments or feedback.
