The New Yorker described their style as one which encompasses an "exhilarating blend of precision and anarchy, rigor and bedlam." Their career boasts 16 albums, more than a decade of music creation, countless educational programs, and tour locations around the world. Sō Percussion was created to present exciting modern music at the Yale School of Music. It has commissioned great American composers to join the quest to build an exciting new repertoire of percussion music. The group is the Edward T. Cone Ensemble-in-Residence at Princeton University. Its long list of performance spaces includes Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music…and Bonnaroo!
