An evening of local experimental sound to kick of the 2018-2019 school year!

This year, Snake On The Lake is pleased to announce we will have The Florists, DJ Boyfrrriend, Wei Zhongle, and Melkbelly all share our wonderful stage for the night! 

 

The four piece, Chicago noise-rock band Melkbelly are known for their frantic arrangements and barring live shows, naming them "Most Exciting Rock Band" at SXSW.

Wei Zhongle is another Chicago native rock band, with experimental sound and mind-riveting beats.

DJ Boyfrrriend is a local Madison DJ, as well as a queer and feminist advocate.

The Florists are a Minneapolis based noise-pop band, that sings songs about "kitchens and the way you comb your hair."
